I have been involved with computers since the early 1980’s when my parents brought home one an early IBM PC. My first paid computer job was in the computer lab at Norwalk State Technical College in 1984. I earned a BS in Computer Science in 1988. I have worked professionally as a programmer, systems administrator, security specialist, “office computer guy,” etc. I currently do a little bit of paid consulting work, mostly in Small Office / Home Office networking and small installation systems administration, as Spotch Systems Consulting (SSC). I am not actively pursuing new clients or contracts at this time, but that could change.
